4.    Now, browse to the given path.
“HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows”
5.    Scroll down in the left menu and look for Windows folder, right click on it.
6.    Go to ‘New’ and then select ‘Key.’
7.    Now, enter ‘System’ for the key name.
8.    Press ‘Enter’.
9.    Click right on the newly created ‘System’ key.
10.    Go to ‘New’ and then select ‘DWORD (32-bit) value’.
11.    Enter ‘DisableAcrylicBackgroundOnLogon’ for value name.
12.    Press ‘Enter’.
13.    Now, double click on the created ‘DWORD’ file.
14.    Change the value data to 1.
15.    Click ‘OK.’
Clicking ‘OK’ will disable the acrylic background effect on Sign in screen and switch it to the traditional transparent background. To reverse the changes, follow the exact same steps, but in Step 14, change the value data from 1 to 0.
