The big box retailer is selling an Acer Aspire 5 15.6-inch laptop for $400. This PC is rocking a quad-core, 1.6GHz Intel “Kaby Lake R” Core i5-8250U, 8GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD, and a 15.6-inch 1080p display. There’s one type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, and a USB 2.0 port. I didn’t quite know what to make of Soliom’s G1 380° ($100 on Amazon) the first time I saw the horizontally split-frame front/rear, surround video that it captures by default. It’s unique among dash cams in my experience, and while the quality is weak, this camera is arguably the best I’ve seen for pure legal daytime protection to the front and sides. That is a fantastic deal for a basic Windows 10 convertible laptop. This version of the Acer Spin 1 features an 11.6-inch 1366-by-768 touchscreen.
